In May 2026, the first Inovatica AGV autonomous forklift was delivered to Saudi Arabia. We delivered it together with our partner on the local market. It is the first machine Inovatica AGV has delivered in the Gulf region and our first step beyond Europe.

Project Context

For us, this delivery was more than another vehicle handover. It confirmed that solutions already proven in plants in Poland and Czechia are also relevant several thousand kilometres away: in a different climate, under different standards and within a different operating culture.

The delivery was carried out in cooperation with a local partner who supported on-site work and helped adapt the project to the realities of the Saudi Arabian market. This allowed us to combine Inovatica AGV’s experience in internal transport automation with practical knowledge of local conditions.

A Different Starting Point for Automation

One thing stood out to us. In Poland, internal transport automation usually enters a plant that has already been operating for many years. The system has to fit an existing layout, existing habits and existing constraints.

In Saudi Arabia, the conversation often starts from a different place. Warehouses and logistics halls are being built now, and autonomous forklifts can be considered already at the facility design stage. That changes the discussion: less focus on working around legacy constraints, more focus on designing material flow for automation from the beginning.

Why This Delivery Matters

The first Inovatica AGV vehicle delivered to Saudi Arabia is an important step in our international development. It shows that experience from European manufacturing and logistics sites can be transferred to markets that are now building a major part of their modern intralogistics infrastructure.

It is also a practical signal for customers outside Europe: AGV technology does not have to be treated as a late add-on to an already finished warehouse. It can be part of the process design discussion when the layout, pick-up and drop-off points, safety zones and future scaling assumptions are still being defined.

Cooperation With a Local Partner

The project was made possible thanks to the trust and commitment of our partner on the Saudi Arabian market. The work of the local team was essential both in organising the launch and in matching the project to the customer’s expectations and local operating conditions.

For Inovatica AGV, this is the first step beyond Europe, but also the beginning of a broader conversation about how autonomous internal transport can support new logistics and manufacturing investments in the Gulf region.
