Innovation event in Lodz

Rethink digital is a new technological event from the Łódź Special Economic Zone. The goal is to prepare the business for digital transformation. Invited guests and experts share their knowledge about market trends and the most interesting implementations of innovative solutions.

Inovatica AGV prepared an expert lecture on the automation of internal transport. We shared our experience and knowledge, especially in terms of what is required to implement automation, security and ROI calculations. – In surveys, most companies declare that innovations are important, but when the same companies are asked whether they actually implement new solutions, the number of positive answers decreases. This is due to concerns about both costs and potential organizational challenges - assesses Piotr Anuszczyk, Marketing & PR Director Inovatica AGV. – Events organized e.g. by the Lodz Special Economic Zone help to dispel these concerns.

AGV/AMR as warehouse solution

Automatic vehicles have been on the market for several decades, and autonomous vehicles are also increasingly becoming a standard solution in economies that compete with innovation. During the meeting in the Lodz Special Economic Zone, we showed the possibilities of modern AGVs. Today, autonomous forklifts have numerous safety systems, both in the hardware and software layer. Their effectiveness compared to a manual worker is seemingly slightly lower. It is worth remembering, however, that autonomous vehicles can work in a 24/7 system without drops in concentration, they are also not sensitive to noise, poor lighting or irritating smells. The period of return on investment in AGVs is also becoming more and more favorable, currently it is only 2 years assuming work in three shifts.

During the conference, topics related to the metaverse, blockchain and cybersecurity were also discussed. The Rethink digital event was organized in Łódź and Warsaw on November 23-24, 2022.
